Solvay Advanced Polymers, L.L.C. has successfully implemented ioMosaic's ioXpress web-based Management of Change (MOC) Workflow solution at four of its North American plant sites that manufacture high-performance plastics.

ioXpress MOC automates and expedites implementation of MOCs by eliminating the need for paper copies to be distributed for review and approval. ioXpress MOC provides a fully integrated platform for online management and tracking of MOC documentation and status.

Managing change is a complex process that is commonly implemented through numerous hard copy forms, databases and electronic documentation, which cannot be fully integrated. ioXpress eliminates MOC program deficiencies by streamlining MOC workflow, providing immediate access to supporting information, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data, and by seamlessly integrating with existing legacy systems.

A recent survey by the US Chemical and Safety Investigation Board finds that MOC program deficiencies are a key root cause of major industrial accidents.
