Georges Melhem Elected as Chairman of the Reactivity Management Roundtable (RMR)
November 11, 2004. Salem, New Hampshire: ioMosaic President Dr.
Georges A. Melhem, has been elected as the first Chairperson of the Reactivity
Management Roundtable (RMR).
The election was conducted by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers with
approximately 80% of RMR participants casting votes for one of three
candidates.
“It is a privilege to be elected as the first RMR Chairperson”, said Dr. Melhem.
“I look forward to working closely with all participating organizations towards
our stated objectives.”
With representation from the industry's leading companies, regulatory agencies,
industry groups, and academic institutions, the RMR provides the world's

assist the industry in reducing the frequency and consequence of runaway
reactions.
